Honest Folk: Al Keating

 

To wrap up our Honest Folk series, we sat down with the man, the myth, the legend, that is Al Keating. We asked him our classic three honest questions and here is what he had to say...

1. What do you do for an honest living?

I wear a few hats at Supernormal; creative, brand & partnerships, leadership, and I put the coffee on in the mornings. All the things I’ve learned really, in a former life.

2. What do you do when you're not working?

I love to cook. I never tire of it, and I see it as a little creative project every time I don my apron. I also love to fly fish - stand in a river somewhere remote, with a good friend or two. And a hip flask of rum.

I’ve found these last two years hard. Professionally and personally, mentally, all of it. I feel like we’re stuck in a weird sci-fi film where pretty much nothing happens, but knowing something will eventually happen. Maybe tomorrow.
